The boys have drawn upon their many years of playing countless shows across the country and created a high-energy, toe-tapping fun show… anything could happen on stage musically and sonically with the show’s finale often ending in a good ol’ fashioned guitar smash!! It’s fun, it’s funny, it’s high tempo Rock n Blues played in the Aussie way by world-class musicians.
Nathan Ward, Sol Freeman and Jon Carson are pedigree generational musicians with parents and grandparents who’ve played and performed in some of this country’s biggest acts of yesteryear. To date, the boy’s careers have seen many highlights including playing in bands and sharing stages with Angry Anderson, Kevin Borich and Nathan Cavaleri plus members of The Offspring and Blue King Brown. They’ve had the pleasure of opening shows for Uriah Heep, The Angels, The Screaming Jets, Jimmy Barnes, Rose Tattoo, Jon Stevens, Grinspoon, The Hoodoo Gurus, The Radiators and many more.
They’ve played on Festivals including Livid Festival, Vans Warped Tours, East Coast Blues & Roots, Sydney Blues & Roots, The Espy Fest (main room), Broadbeach Blues Festival (main stage) and Gladstone Sails Festival to name a few. More recently the pair have completed stadium tours and VIP concerts on: ACDC (Rock or Bust Tour), Guns & Roses (Not in this lifetime tour), Coldplay (Head full of dreams) at Suncorp Stadium and Hotter Than Hell Tour at Redland Bay 2017.
Added exposure has been gained through playing live nationally on Big Brother Friday Night Live to over 2 million viewers, plus Recovery (ABC) and Britts Abroad to over 1.3 million UK viewers. Past original project The Driving Conditions has sold 30000 copies of their album (Full Throttle) world wide and reached #13 in Australia’s Aria Album Charts for 3 months.
Blood Rule will be releasing their debut EP ‘Grande Loco’ through a major label to be announced soon. The release will include 2 video clips and a string of support shows... future plans include a follow up EP with major guest star vocalists. Stay tuned!
